RESPIRATORY ILLNESS SEASON
We are entering Respiratory Illness Season (Covid, Influenza and RSV). We encourage all visitors to be fully vaccinated and be vigilant with their hand washing. Masks are available in the dresser drawer in the lobby. Please Stay Home if you are feeling ill.

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
We have launched a new fundraising campaign. Details are on our website. Donations may be made anytime online through our website: passamaquoddylodge.ca/donate, by e-transfer to foundation@passamaquoddylodge.ca or in person at the Lodge. We appreciate your support!

GIFTS AND GRATUITIES
Please be advised that Passamaquoddy Lodge Staff are not permitted to accept gifts or gratuities from residents. Items such as food/treats on behalf of all staff are permitted and appreciated.

RESPECTFUL CONDUCT and COMMUNICATION
We want to encourage open communication with families, but we do ask that you keep your comments respectful to all of our staff. If you have a concern please remember to speak to a manager or Charge Nurse. Thank you for keeping this in mind.

ALLERGY ALERT
Please do not bring in any items with nuts, peanut butter or latex (balloons) due to allergies. Thank you! Also, please remember we are a fragrance free building.

RESIDENT CLOSETS/SEASONAL ITEMS
It is time to sort out seasonal items in residents’ closets and dresser drawers. Please exchange/clean out items not in use or needed at this time. Please make sure you leave all new items at reception or with the Care Staff to be labeled. Thank you!

Also, please feel free to decorate your resident’s room for Christmas. Just make sure any electrical items are CSA approved, and our maintenance staff checks them before use. No real Poinsettias or live greenery (fir, spruce, pine, cedar) in arrangements please.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING IN ANY TYPE OF MEDICATIONS
Please do not bring in any medications of any kind; over the counter items or otherwise. Thank you for your continued support.

CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR SALE
The Activity Staff and Residents are going to start making Christmas cards in November with our Cricut machine and selling them towards the end of November and into December. We will have them displayed so family or staff can purchase.
